GeoSerra was built by a team that noticed SEO is changing with AI. Traditional SEO tools do not adequately cover platforms like Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT web search and Perplexity. We are here to close that gap.

As of 2025, approximately 30% of Google searches begin with AI Overviews. ChatGPT, Perplexity and Bing Copilot serve millions of users with answers compiled from web pages. In this landscape, simply 'ranking' is no longer enough — AI systems must be able to cite that content.

This is exactly where GeoSerra steps in: we combine your site's technical health (Lighthouse, Core Web Vitals), structured data quality (JSON-LD schema), brand authority signals (sameAs, social presence) and AI citability score into a single report. For each category we provide concrete, prioritized action items.

Our vision is to combine classic SEO metrics with AI citability and visibility signals in one clear decision surface.

GeoSerra's analysis engine is built on Python-based scripts. Each analysis category is an independent module: lighthouse_checker.py, dns_checker.py, brand_scanner.py, citability_scorer.py. This modular structure lets us develop and test each category independently.

On the backend we use Fastify 5 and the Bun runtime. Bun's fast startup time and Fastify's low overhead keep API response times under 50 ms. At the database layer we chose MySQL 8 and Drizzle ORM for type-safe queries.

For paid analyses, a Llama 4 model running on Groq is activated. This model generates human-readable, contextual recommendations from raw metrics. The AI layer is disabled for free analyses — so API costs are not passed on to users.
